Tom and Jess Wilson (1991)

"When I saw them for the first time, I thought I was the cleverest person in the world," said Sandie, now 54 about her twin babies. "I thought nobody else could ever have done as well as me. They were my two little miracles."

And son Thomas, who has known from a young age that he was an IVF baby, knows just how much his parents wanted him

"I know what my parents went through was hard and this makes me feel special and proud to have been conceived in this way," said Thomas, who goes to Sixth Form College in Cambridge.

"Knowing I'm one of the relatively few people who have been successfully conceived through IVF makes me feel special, too."

Bourn Hall is also a special place for Thomas.

"I think it is an extremely special place," he said. "I am very grateful for what the clinic has done for me and my parents.

"I think it is remarkable how Bourn Hall gives couples who didn't think they could a chance at being parents."
